Add an elegant bar that would better serve their indoor and outdoor entertaining needs.
We enclosed a seldom-used screened-in porch off the family room to create a full bar with plenty of wine storage that accessed their outdoor patio and firepit. The space was designed to also offer a lovely view of their side yard and Koi pond.
For added charm, we chose antique brass mesh instead of glass to enhance the wood cabinetry featuring the owners' select liquor.
Granite was selected for its low maintenance on the countertops and backsplash, sourced specifically to emulate the look of Vermont Soapstone.
New oversized French windows open onto the patio so drinks can be served from within, making it a delightful experience for both bartender and guests! A custom-made door and stoop were created to access the patio.
It was a joy to custom fit the main door to the bar with these beautiful brass doorknobs purchased by the couple years ago from The Plaza Hotel for their anniversary!
